By accessing or using Callimachus ("the App", "we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Callimachus is a reading application that allows users to upload, read, and manage digital documents including PDF, TXT, DOCX, and HTML files. The App provides features such as text formatting, bookmarking, reading progress tracking, and library management.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create a user account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Providing accurate and complete registration information

4. User Content

You retain all ownership rights to the documents you upload to Callimachus. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary licenses to upload and use the content
• Your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws
• Your content does not contain malicious code or harmful content

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Use the App to distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the App

6. Intellectual Property

The App itself, including its code, design, logos, and branding, is owned by Callimachus and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our express written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• The App will function uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or other harmful components
• Your content will be preserved indefinitely

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Callimachus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
